Deep Thoughts with Mrs. Bailey
DEEP THOUGHTS, WITH MRS. BAILEY
We have a lot of inspirational people in our school, but the one we find the most inspirational is Mrs. Bailey. So, for the remainder of the year and for the rest of the newsletters, we will feature some inspirational quotes from one of our beloved math teachers. For the month of October, she gave us this quote, “When you can't control what's happening, challenge yourself to control the way you respond to what's happening. That's where the power is." To me, this quote means that you shouldn’t try to control something you don’t have the power over, but control your emotions and your actions to what is happening. We would all do well to remember this as we go through the rest of the year, as we are all dealing with things we can’t control.
