Cross Country
The 2020 Cross Country team started off the season at Leoti. They set their first PR, (Personal Record), for the season there. The cross country team runs all around Ingalls for practice and sometimes goes on the blacktop and on some dirt roads. They run up hills a lot so they can get used to what some of the meet courses will look like.
The cross country schedule is as follows:
September 17th, Stafford 4:00 p.m.
September 26th, Stanton County
October 1st, Ness CIty 4:00 p.m.
October 8th, Cimarron HOME 3:00 p.m.
October 15th, SPIAA Coldwater
October 24th, Regionals TBD
November 7th, State Victoria
The cross country team had 4 more girls join so they will have a team. The cross country team includes 7th grader Demi Wilkinson, freshmen Layton Simon and Kevin Ruiz; sophomores Abby Gillen, Sydney Minet, Taylor Davis, Abby Macwhinnie, Edwin Ruiz and Brenden Ellis; juniors Courtney Bailey and Chance Unruh; and seniors Edgar Ruiz and Obed Peregrino.
