Mrs. Meador’s choir classes have been working hard practicing and learning new pieces since the new year has started. The high school group has been exposed to many different types of music and are preparing for contest at the end of February. Right now, Mrs. Meador is planning to take Chamber Singers, Girls Ensemble, and possibly a Men's Ensemble to contest this year. She states “These high schoolers are very talented and hardworking. They will be ready to compete hands down.” If you would like to watch them perform, check your calendar for high school contest dates and locations.

Mrs. Meador has a big middle school group this year! With over seventy students in her room multiple times a week there is a lot of children to handle. Mrs. Meador, however, says, “They are a good group of kids and I enjoy spending time with them.” There has been a rising interest to try out for honor choir this year at the middle school level. Mrs. Meador had ten students make it from sixth through eighth. They are Tyson Bleumer, Chance Unruh, Abbie Lightner, Courtney Bailey, Brenden Ellis, Tessa Irsik, Kami Whipple, Anna Schmeeckle, and Malachi Meador. They performed great in concert and worked hard as well.

Want to hear more of these two groups? Check your schedule and come watch them either at contest or the spring concert! It’s a fact…  These Bulldogs can sing!
