In Forensics this year there are eleven students participating; Rheann Rodenbur, Cesar Estrada, Mariah Litton are all seniors, Odalys Escobedo, Savannah Green are both juniors, Ransom Phlieger , Brooklyn White both sophomores, Kiley Whipple, Shelby Campbell, Jazmine Porras, and Benjamin Meador are all freshmen. The events in forensics are: Improvised duet acting, humorous solo, serious solo, Duet, Extemp, Original Oratory, informative, Prose, Poetry and Impromtu. At their first meet on February 3, 2018 the Ingalls High School Forensics team traveled to Satanta High School, where Cesar Estrada placed First place in humorous solo, and Rheann Rodenbur placed Second in humorous solo, qualifying them both for State Champs. In Satanta, Cesar Estrada and Benjamin Meador placed Second in IDA, qualifying them for State Championships.On February 8, 2018 Ingalls High School traveled to Kinsley High School, for their Second meet. Benjamin Meador and Brooklyn White placed First place at the Kinsley Novice meet qualifying them for State Festival. As Odalys Escobedo shares her enjoyment of Forensics by stating that “Something new that I wanted to try, that was outside my comfort zone, and I actually enjoy performing pieces that I have worked hard on.”
