Mrs. Lightner

March 07, 2018

The kinders had a fun Valentine’s Day! They played games and had fun hanging out with each other. One of the games the kinders played was called “Blowing Kisses.” In this game they had a rose petal and they had to blow it into a bucket. They also played musical chairs. The final activity in their classroom involved making “Love-Bug Valentines” for their parents.

As the kinders head into March, they will be participating in Read Across America. Read Across America week for the kinders will consist of Dr. Seuss activities. The kinders will have fun with some fun made up rhyming words and a pajama day. As of right now, the kinders are working on a writing project. They picked an animal, now they will focus on writing about where they live and what they eat.

Mrs. Lightner would like to remind the parents that spring break is coming up! She would like the parents to “continue to read with their child as well as practice sight words and numbers to 100.”
