Junior Bulldogs fight all the way!

Our Bulldogs played their first match at home on September 1st against Spearville. A team started their match out well by dominating 25-15. The ladies took their win too well and lost the remaining sets 16-25, 19-25. Kaisha Batman nailed 17 serves to top all players. B team made themselves proud by winning both sets, 25-16, 25-22. Allie Vanderree came in and served awesomely for her team scoring 11 pts. She served out the game with her hammer serves. The C team gave both of their matches a nice try. The first game was 15-3 with Chanelle Andrews serving up 9 serves. The second game C team ran out of time ending the match with a score of 4-15.
Junior High had two home matches on September 8th. They played Bucklin and Pawnee Heights. Our girls had to seriously put their heads together to play strong after last week’s disappointment. The A team dominated their first competition against PH 25-8, 25-9. Bulma Galaviz scored 13 pts and 2 aces. In the second set, Jasmine Renick scored 9 pts and 1 ace.
In the A team match against Bucklin, IJHS let their win against Pawnee Heights stay with them and notched another victory, 25-5, 25-22. In this match, Jasmine Renick scored 22 pts, and 2 aces.
Our B team also played Pawnee Heights and Bucklin. In the first match the ladies had to fight for their win of 25-18 and 25-8. In their contest against Bucklin, the dogs had to give all they had. The final score was 25-13, 12-25, 8-15 in favor of the Red Aces.
The Bulldogs took a road trip to Fowler to visit the Goldbugs. Our A squad’s outcome was an unbelievable disappointment, but they tried their hardest. The Bulldogs took the Goldbugs into three rounds and were toppled 25-10, 24-26, and 22-25. Ingalls couldn’t rebound after having match point (24-21) go by the wayside in the second set. Kaisha Batman had 14 serves, and 3 aces through the whole game. Michaela Loewen had 20 serves and 2 aces. Jasmine Renick served 3 aces and 13 serves.
Bulldogs B team lost both of their sets, too. Madeline Sandoval was on a roll with her serves with 12 serves and 5 aces. The final score was, however, 20-25 and 18-25.
Ingalls had a road trip  to Ashland on September 22nd. Ingalls A team played a 3-set match 25-16, 21-25, and 25-8. B team beat the Bluejays in both sets, 25-15, 25-17. Ashland didn’t put up much of a fight for the mighty Bulldogs. Our C team won their first set 25-21, but gave up the second match, 8-25 and stopped due to a time limit!
Ingalls A team record stands at 3-2. We will start the next game vs. Kiowa County.
