M.S. Choir
Ingalls hosted the SFTL Middle School Choir Clinic on November 11.
The league middle school choirs worked very hard throughout the day
with clinician Kelly Knedler, director of choral music at Dodge
City High School. Schools in attendance were; Deerfield, Moscow,
Rolla and Ingalls. The mass choir performed a concert at 2pm. They
sang five musical selections; African Noel, Agnus Dei, Gloria
Fanfare, Send Down The Rain & From Hairspray: You Can’t Stop
The Beat. The day was a great success! Mr. Knedler was an exciting,
energetic clinician. He did an outstanding job of directed the
students, challenging them, and preparing them to perform a quality
concert at the end of the day.
SW District Honor Choir
SW District Honor Choir was held on Saturday, November 7, at the Dodge City Middle School. Representing Ingalls: Rebecca Wyatt, alto & Niketa Sandoval, soprano. The honor choir was directed by Katherine M. Huerta-Simpson of Millard West High School. The choir performed a wonderful concert at 3pm. They sang: Festival Sanctus, The Sky Is Crying On The Sea, Lightning, Solla Sollew & Rise Up This Day To Celebrate.
