Savannah Dwyre is serving as K.A.Y. president for the second year. She attended K.A.Y. Leadership camp this past summer and brought back some wonderful ideas to help the group. One new ides we are implementing is a color group system. The entire K.A.Y. group is divided into 6 different color groups. We will be using these small groups to better organize the planning and duties of the many projects we try to accomplish throughout the year. We also are hoping that this new system will help increase our actual involvement of the entire club membership. In September the K.A.Y. club is working to get ideas in motion to begin another year of service. They are working on a Box Top for Education project-hoping to get the program started by the end of the month. All students we be receiving information very soon about how collecting box tops will help Ingalls High School. Many fun activities are planned by the Ingalls' KAY Club, such as the Winter Formal and For-the-Cause Fridays where the entire school helps raise money for a certain cause.
