2007 Homecoming Candidates

The 2007 Football Homecoming will be held on October 5 at 6:30 p.m. There are four queen candidates and four king candidates. This year's homecoming song is "Crazy" by K-Ci and JoJo.
Hannah Bailey, our first nominee, is the daughter of Glenn and Susan Bailey. Hannah is the STUCO President, a member of I-Club, and is involved in SADD. She plays volleyball, basketball, and is in track as well as power lifting. Hannah is also a trainer for the football team. GCCC is where she wants to attend college to learn about wildlife biology.
Hannah's escort is Marshall Dwyre, who is the son of Dennis and Jeanette Dwyre. Marshall is the Senior Class President and is a representative for STUCO. He is also involved in football, basketball, and track. Marshall would like to attend KU and major in finance.
Our next candidate is Flor Idalia Galaviz. She is the daughter of Emma and Mauro Galaviz. Flor is also the Assistant Editor in Yearbook, member of SADD, I-Club, Secretary/Treasurer for Vocal, and also participates in power lifting.She is a trainer for the boys basketball team and is an active member of the volleyball team. Flor plans on going to GCCC to major in cosmetology.
Flor's escort is Corey McQueen. Cory is the son of Sonja and Ronald McQueen. He is a member of the football and basketball teams.
The next queen candidate is Amanda Nicole White, daughter of Raymond and Dena White. Amanda is the Vice President of the Senior class, Vice President and Publicity Director of KAY Club, the Drum Majorette, and Captain of the Cheerleading Squad. She also participates in SADD, I-Club, Choir Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Class Leadership. Amanda is a member of the volleyball and track teams. She would like to attend GCCC and then KSU to major in Business Law.
Amanda's escort is German Robles, son of Daniel and Juana Robles. He is I-Club president, STUCO vice-president, and Band Equipment Manager. German is also involved in KAY's, SADD, and Choir. He is the volleyball manager, and is active in basketball and track. German would like to attend GCCC to major in nursing or teaching.
Our last candidate is Vanessa Jean Wyatt, daughter of Patrick and Edith Wyatt. She is the Band President, Choir President, KAY's Secretary, and Senior class Secretary. Vanessa is a member of SADD, I-Club, and Dance Team. Vanessa is also a member of the Volleyball team.GCCC is where Vanessa plans to attend for two years then off to an university to study photography, wildlife, or writing.
Vanessa's escort is Preston Brooks, son of Rod and Angela Brooks. Preston is involved in SADD, I-Club, KAY's, and Vocal. He plays football, basketball, and is in track. Preston is undecided on his future plans.
The first grade attendants are Katlyn Bohannan, daughter of Nathan and Alicia Bohannan: and Jace Marquez, son of Jose and Tina Marquez.
