Mr. Thompson
Mr. Thompson teaches math and science to the sixth and seventh graders. He enjoys being around kids and interacting with each one of them. This will be his sixth year teaching at Ingalls Middle School. He is also the assistant High School Boys Basketball Coach, Middle School Track Assistant Coach and Cross-Country Head Coach. Thompson has coached over 70 teams and has been teaching for 25 years. His future plans are to continue doing what he loves, teaching and coaching.
He gradated in 1980 from Rossville High, home of the original bulldog. He attended Kansas State University and received his degree in elementary education. In his spare time Mr. Thompson likes to exercise by running in the evening or playing in the dirt on his 1050-acre farm. On the weekends he prefers to spend time with his wife Paula. Paula is an English teacher at Cimarron High School. They have a son named Michael and a daughter named Abby. Michael is Junior at Ingalls High School and Abby attends Cimarron High School as a Sophomore. Mr. Thompson comments on his photo above saying, "As the photo illustrates, I like to try new things!"
