Happenings so far:

Yearbook is starting off with a good year.  So far they have gone to the workshop at DCCC and are now starting to sell ads! If anyone would like their business to be featured in the yearbook please contact Mrs. Bleumer or one of the following yearbook staff members:Flor Galaviz, Vicky Andazola, Kellan Chambers, Chanun Bass, Raelynn Carrell, Riley Vanderree, Emily Miller, or Gina Benton.

This year in computer applications they have a new software and new books.  They are learning how to use Microsoft Word 2007, doing web searches, and learning all the basics for the new software.

In Accounting I they have started learning about assets, liabilities, and owners equity.

Advanced Accounting has started learning about depreciation.  These two are very tough classes but the students seem to really like them.

7th grade keyboarding is starting to learn where the home row is and they are learning where about 6 other keys are.

Right now 8th grade keyboarding is reviewing all the keys they were taught last year and working on improving their typing speed and techniques.
