Welcome back Mrs. Furgason!!

This is the 18th year for Mrs. Furgason as a school librarian! She started out as a classroom teacher teaching a combined 3rd-5th grade class in St. Leo, Kansas, which is south of Cunningham. From there the family moved westward and she has spent 14 years at Ingalls and four years at Stafford as a school librarian. Mrs. Furgason graduated from Fort Hays State University and received her library certification from St. Mary's of the Plains. Her husband, Ken, works for Farm Credit in Garden City. She has two daughters, Megan, who is a student at Washburn Law, and Mandy who is a student at K-State. Go Cats! Hobbies include of course reading, walking, going to K-State football games and hanging out at the lake. Her favorite reads this summer were The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd and The Marines of Autumn by James Brady.
