Mrs. Furgason

Welcome back Mrs. Furgason!!
This is the 18th year for Mrs.
Furgason as a school librarian! She started out as a classroom
teacher teaching a combined 3rd-5th grade class in St. Leo,
Kansas, which is south of Cunningham. From there the family
moved westward and she has spent 14 years at Ingalls and four years
at Stafford as a school librarian. Mrs. Furgason graduated from
Fort Hays State University and received her library certification
from St. Mary's of the Plains. Her husband, Ken, works for Farm
Credit in Garden City. She has two daughters, Megan, who is a
student at Washburn Law, and Mandy who is a student at K-State. Go
Cats! Hobbies include of course reading, walking, going to K-State
football games and hanging out at the lake. Her favorite reads this
summer were The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd and
The Marines of Autumn by James Brady.
