School Reach Program
August 24, 2007
Dear Parents:
The Ingalls School District is in the process of installing a new program to assist with school to parent communication. This Program is called...SCHOOL REACH (instant parent contact). The School Reach Program has the ability to make hundreds of automated phone calls in just a matter of seconds.
The school district plans to use this service for your convenience for various types of announcements. The primary usage will be for school cancellations, mud routes, early dismissals, and any type of emergency situations.
The way the system works is...a call will be made to your main home number. If there is no answer a message will be left and another call will be made to your secondary number that has been given to us at enrollment.
If you happen to receive a phone call from the School Reach automated system, please remain on the line to listen to the notification. Hopefully, with this system we will be able to provide timely and adequate messages to all parents and guardians.
Again, we are attempting to have good communication between school and home. We feel this is a great system to help in this endeavor.
If you have any questions about the School Reach Program, please contact the district office at 335-5136.
Thank you,
Mr. Novack
