Hoops for Heart
• Hoops for Heart was held March 13 for 117 Pre-K through 5th grade. The High School PE/Health class divided into two groups and acted as Leader/Coaches.
• The Pre-K through 5th participated in warm-ups, Ball handling, Shooting, Dribbling, and games.
• 38 students participated in raising funds for the American Heart Association.
• The total funds raised during this year were $2000.76.
• The leading Fundraisers for each class won the right to be PE teacher for a class

• The leading fundraiser overall was Chambre D. She won the right to be PE teacher for the day!!
• The top 3 fundraising classes were:
1) 2nd grade- $450.00
2) 3rd grade- $407.06
3) 1st grade- $321.75
• Mr. Harris and his students want to thank everyone who donated to this years Hoops for Heart event. It was a success as we raised money for an important cause. We also were able to share all the fun with Pre-k through 12th grade students!
